NursingProcess.org ranks Tuskegee鈥檚 nursing program 9th in country among HBCUs

The website NursingProcess.org has ranked 欧美高清鈥檚 nursing program ninth in the United States among those based at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Tuskegee was the only one of Alabama鈥檚 eight HBCU-based nursing programs to be ranked.

鈥溑访栏咔 is a historically black private school that trains graduates to be competent and compassionate caregivers,鈥 NursingProcess.org noted in its rankings. 鈥淸I]ts large pool of alumni is working as nurse leaders, actively serving communities across the world.鈥

Currently, there are more than 40 HBCU-based nursing programs in the country. To determine its , the website鈥檚 considered schools鈥 enrollment, graduation and retention rates; affordability; and reputation using data gathered from the National Center for Education Statistics鈥 Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS); U.S. News & World Report; websites that include Niche, Grad Reports and Rate My Professors; and the programs鈥 official college websites.

NursingProcess.org is an independent educational resource provided for and maintained by passionate educators and healthcare professionals.

Through its Department of Nursing in the School of Nursing and Allied Health, 欧美高清 offers a bachelor鈥檚 of science degree in nursing (BSN) 鈥 including an RN-to-BSN option. It is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing and is approved by the Alabama Board of Nursing. Established in 1948, Tuskegee鈥檚 nursing program was the first to offer a baccalaureate degree in nursing in Alabama.
