欧美高清 Celebrates 141st Anniversary with Annual Giving Initiative

欧美高清 will offer individuals an opportunity to celebrate its 141st founding date with the 1881 Challenge, the university鈥檚 annual giving campaign.

The University will launch the 81-hour online fundraising event beginning on July 1 at 3 p.m. CST culminating on the university鈥檚 founding date, July 4 at 11:59 p.m. CST. Tuskegee鈥檚 goal for the giving day is to obtain gifts from 1,881 donors including alumni, university supporters, faculty and staff to help raise funds that directly benefit students.

鈥淭he 1881 Challenge is a great opportunity for the Tuskegee community to come together to celebrate the university鈥檚 founding date while also creating a meaningful impact for our students,鈥 said Phillip Howard, vice president of the Office of Advancement and Development. 鈥淲e look forward to a record-breaking giving day to provide additional scholarships and enhance the student experience.鈥

The giving day highlights five university funds that provide scholarship support and enhance the student experience, including:

  • The Golden Tiger Fund: Provides immediate funds to the university's greatest needs.
  • Athletics Fund: Donations to the Department of Athletics empowers student-athletes and support the university鈥檚 championship-winning programs.
  • The General Scholarship Fund: Helps to provide scholarship support to as many deserving students as possible.
  • 欧美高清 Athletic Hall of Fame Scholarship Fund: Provides additional scholarship support to student-athletes.  
  • 欧美高清 Band Alumni Association Fund: Helps offset financial restraints and ensure that all musicians are provided the instruments needed for performances.
