欧美高清 President Mark A. Brown has talked about the benefits of using RAVE, the safety platform since last November.
Now the university has officially launched RAVE for students, faculty and staff. The TU Police Department is using the platform by notifying the campus in case of an emergency by sending alerts via text, email and an automated call to their phones with just one click.
Students, faculty and staff must have their information updated in to receive the notifications. The QR code below can help make sure your information is updated.
Students, faculty and staff are now able to download the RAVE app on their iPhone or Android. Look for the TU Secure app in your app store. TU Secure connects you with campus police during emergencies, allows friends to track your location, provides campus maps and other features.

Our goal is to make sure there are multiple forms of communication during an emergency and RAVE helps us do that.鈥�
The RAVE implementation is part of a number of safety and security changes made in the last several months. The campus has improved lighting, introduced card-key gate access, and started installation of card-key access for buildings across campus. A new police chief has joined the university and additional officers are being hired. Two canine officers are being trained and expected to join this summer. In addition, officers will patrol the campus on bikes as well as in vehicles.
While the process has changed for visitors to enter campus, the university provides the to make it easier for guests to complete in advance of their visit. Instructions for guests who are planning to attend Commencement will be shared soon.
