The Veterinary Diagnostic Services Laboratories at TU provide comprehensive diagnostics for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, support research, and cater to pet owners. The lab also offers specialized surgical pathology services to regional veterinarians with advanced technology and expertise.

Capability Statement

At TU's Veterinary Diagnostic Services, the lab advances diagnostic capabilities for reliable and precise results. Offering anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, bacteriology, mycology, and parasitology, it plays a crucial role in accurate diagnoses and effective therapy. Supporting research projects and regional veterinarians, the lab provides essential biopsy and necropsy reports for treatment decisions and postmortem analysis. Integral to the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and student training, it offers tests from clinical chemistries to microbiological examinations. The lab's veterinary pathologists offer valuable consultation, bridging clinical observations with pathological findings. Extending services to surrounding veterinarians and regional states, it supports regional animal populations and enhances veterinary and graduate student training.
